How to Play Guide

🚀 Getting Started

Character Creation

When you first load WWE: OPEN WORLD, you'll create your wrestler. This is your permanent legacy in Suplex City.

1. Choose Your Look

Select ethnicity, face, body type, height, and tattoos. This determines your wrestler's appearance throughout the game.

2. Pick Your Fighting Style

Grappler (submissions), Striker (punches/kicks), High-Flyer (aerial moves), Technical (reversals), Brawler (environmental), or Hybrid (mixed).

3. Pick Your Alignment

Heel (villainous), Face (heroic), or Anti-Hero (chaotic). This affects how crowds react and which factions accept you.

4. Choose Your Entrance

Select entrance music, entrance animation, and custom taunts. This is your signature as a wrestler.

5. Confirm & Enter Suplex City

You spawn in the Arena District with $5,000 starting cash and basic gear. Welcome to the game.

💡 Tip: You can fully customize your appearance anytime in your Safehouse. Don't worry about your choices—you can change everything later!

Momentum Meter

The blue bar under your health is your Momentum Meter. It builds as you:

When FULL, you can use your Finisher (RT/R2) for massive damage!

💡 Tip: Finishers are CINEMATIC—the camera zooms in and time slows down. Timing your finisher perfectly gives bonus damage.

🔄 The Core Gameplay Loop

WWE: OPEN WORLD is all about this cycle:

1. Complete Missions

Take jobs from your Faction or the job board. Fight rivals, steal items, escort people. Earn money & reputation.

2. Earn Reputation & Cash

As you complete missions, you gain Faction Rep and cash. Higher rep unlocks perks, moves, vehicles, and abilities.

3. Customize Your Wrestler

Buy outfits, moves, finishers, and cosmetics in shops. Make your wrestler look unique.

4. Join Live Events

Every 1-2 hours, live events trigger (Battle Royales, Tag-Team Wars, Cage Matches). Jump in to compete for rewards.

5. Rank Up

Gain XP through all activities. Level up (1-100) to unlock new moves and stat points.

6. Repeat

Repeat the cycle to become a legend.

Types of Missions

🎯 Combat Mission

Objective: Defeat rival wrestlers. Reward: Cash + Faction Rep. Tip: Use environmental attacks for bonus damage.

🔓 Infiltration Mission

Objective: Sneak into a location without being detected. Reward: Large cash reward + reputation. Tip: Avoid guards, stay hidden in shadows.

🚚 Cargo Mission

Objective: Steal or transport items. Reward: Cash + equipment unlocks. Tip: Use vehicles to escape faster.

🏃 Chase Mission

Objective: Catch or escape from someone. Reward: Cash + bonus for speed. Tip: Use shortcuts and parkour to gain time.

🔗 Assassination Mission

Objective: Eliminate a specific target. Reward: Large cash + reputation. Tip: Stealth assassination = bigger reward.

Stunt Challenges

Throughout the city you'll see blue markers for Stunt Challenges. Complete parkour courses, vehicle ramps, or combat gauntlets for cash and cosmetic rewards.

Environmental Combat

Look for interactive objects during fights:

⏰ Live Events (Every Hour)

Live events are timed multiplayer matches that happen every 1-2 hours. Always check your phone for the next event!

🏆 Battle Royale (30-60 players)

Last person standing wins. Fight in random districts, claim victory. Reward: $5,000-$20,000 + cosmetics.

🏴‍☠️ Tag-Team Turf War (8v8)

Capture and hold territory with your team. Reward: $3,000-$10,000 + faction reputation.

🏎️ Car-Top Brawl Race (16 players)

Jump between moving vehicles while fighting. First to finish line + alive wins. Reward: $2,000-$8,000 + vehicle skins.

🔥 Cage Match (Faction-Only, 2-8 players)

Private tournament for your faction members. Winner becomes monthly champion. Reward: $5,000-$30,000 + prestige.

🪜 Ladder Loot Drop (32 players)

Rare cosmetics spawn on rooftops. Climb ladders, fight over loot. Reward: Exclusive cosmetics.

💡 Tip: Join live events regularly! They're the fastest way to earn money and climb the leaderboards. Plus, you might see other players and build rivalries!

🏴‍☠️ Joining a Faction

After your first few missions, you'll get invitations to join factions. Choose wisely—your faction determines your playstyle, abilities, and enemies.

The 5 Factions

🏛️ Authority Collective

Style: Corporate control. Perks: District rent, media manipulation, security forces. Best For: Strategic players who like making money.

🔥 Rogue Alliance

Style: Chaos & explosions. Perks: Weapon crafting, underground fights, motorcycle vehicles. Best For: Action lovers who want extreme combat.

💰 The Syndicate

Style: Organized crime. Perks: Casino access, money laundering, hired enforcer allies. Best For: Players who love negotiation and profits.

✊ The Underground

Style: Liberation & community. Perks: Tunnel shortcuts, free healing, hacking tools. Best For: Heroes fighting the system.

🎯 Independent Wrestler

Style: No faction. Perks: Trade with everyone, take contracts from all factions, ultimate freedom. Best For: Players who want to stay neutral.

💡 Tip: You can change factions anytime! But you'll lose reputation with your old faction. Choose carefully.

📈 Leveling & Progression

As you level up, you unlock new moves:

Prestige System

At level 100, you can Prestige. You reset to level 1 but keep all cosmetics and unlock a glowing "Prestige Skin" variant. Max 10 prestiges!

🎨 Customization & Cosmetics

Shopping

Use cash to buy in the following shops:

👕 Clothing Stores

Tops, bottoms, footwear, accessories. Mix & match for thousands of outfit combinations.

⚔️ Weapon Shops

Chairs, bats, sledgehammers, explosives. Each weapon has different damage and special effects.

🎬 Move Shops

Purchase new finishing moves, signature moves, and combat techniques. Each costs $1,000-$5,000.

🚗 Vehicle Shops

Buy cars, motorcycles, trucks, and helicopters. Vehicles have different stats for combat, speed, and durability.

💄 Customization

Change hair, tattoos, scars, armor. Your safehouse has a mirror for free adjustments.

💡 Tip: Don't waste all your money on cosmetics early! You'll need cash for vehicles, moves, and healing items.

🔓 Heists (High-Risk, High-Reward)

Once you reach Faction Tier 2, you unlock Heists—multi-stage criminal operations that pay BIG.

How Heists Work

1. Accept Heist

Your faction leader gives you a heist contract. Invite 1-5 squad members (friends or AI).

2. Setup Missions

Complete 3-5 prep missions to gather tools, intel, and allies. Each takes 10-15 minutes.

3. Infiltration

Choose your approach: Stealth (sneak in) or Loud (guns blazing). Different rewards for each.

4. Objective

Complete the main goal (steal, hack, rescue, etc.) while avoiding or defeating guards.

5. Escape

Extract from the location before time runs out or reinforcements arrive.

6. Split Reward

Success = massive payout, split among squad. Failure = partial rewards.

Heist Examples

There are 10 different heists:

💰 How to Make Money (Fast)

Fastest: Heists

$20,000-$100,000 per heist (30-45 min). Requires squad & setup.

Reliable: Missions

$2,000-$15,000 per mission (5-15 min). No requirements, always available.

Quick: Live Events

$1,000-$20,000 per event (10-20 min). Available hourly, multiplayer matches.

Passive: Territory Control

$500-$2,500 per day. Once you claim a district, collect rent automatically.

Risky: Casino Gambling

Variable. High risk, high reward. Can turn $1,000 into $50,000 or lose it all.

💡 Tip: Early game: Farm missions. Mid-game: Mix missions & live events. Late game: Run heists for big money.

🏆 Endgame (After Level 100)

Prestige System

At level 100, reset to level 1 and unlock Prestige cosmetics. Players can see your prestige rank (up to 10).

Become Faction Leader

Complete the endgame faction war. Reach Tier 5 reputation and challenge the faction leader to take their position.

Seasonal Challenges

Quarterly events unlock exclusive cosmetics and story content. Complete challenges to earn rewards.

✓ Save Money Early: Don't blow cash on cosmetics in Week 1. You'll need it for vehicles, moves, and healing.
✓ Join a Faction Early: Faction perks are massive. Choose one that fits your playstyle.
✓ Use Environmental Attacks: Throwing enemies into tables/chairs = 1.5x damage. Always look for interactive objects.
✓ Taunt Strategically: Taunting builds crowd energy AND gives you time to recover. Use it wisely.
✓ Mix Up Your Moveset: Opponents will learn your patterns. Change your signature moves to keep them guessing.
✓ Team Up for Heists: Heists are designed for squads. Playing solo = harder, lower rewards.
